PEARL JAM Concert Censored By AT&T
In a move that representatives of AT&T claim was unintentional, rockers Pearl Jam were censored during a weekend broadcast of the band's performance at Lollapalooza.
As the group played a cover version of "Another Brick I The Wall" by Pink Floyd, singer Ed Vedder changed the lyrics to say "George Bush, leave this world alone."
The telecommunications company removed the interjection, claiming the censorship was the fault of an outside contractor utilized to edit profanity from live broadcasts.
Pearl Jam has countered the move with a statement defending net neutrality that can be found here.
